MARS Exercise Sunday, Oct. 30

Just a reminder about the MARS Exercise starting tomorrow, Sunday, Oct. 30!

I want to say that EVERYONE can check into the 60m nets (5330.5 kHz
USB, Ch. #1) during this MARS exercise and receive a QSL card, so if
you live in Canada, CA, NV, OR, WA, ID, MT, UT, TX or any others
states, you can still participate!

The first net starts at 5 pm PDT on Sunday and at 8:05 pm PDT there
will be a high powered broadcast every ten minutes until 9pm PDT.
Everyone who hears the broadcast will be given a website to go to and
provide a reception report and receive a second QSL card!

Another 60m net will start right after the broadcast for amateurs to
provide info to MARS members.

Here is the entire schedule:

60m Net on 5330.5 kHz USB Ch. #1
(Alternate frequency – 5346.5 kHz USB Ch. #2)

– Sunday from 0001z – 0230z (5 – 7:30 pm)

– Sunday from 0300z – 0400z (8:05 – 9pm)
Broadcasts will be made every five minutes from DOD station

– Sunday from 0401z – 0500z (9 -10 pm)

– Monday from 1500z – 1700z (8 – 10 am)

– Monday from 0100z – 0300z (6 pm – 8 pm)

I have attached some info about the Five Dot Three Net every Monday at
2000z (1300 PDT). Also, I will have an additional net two Sat.
evenings a month, but haven’t decided which Saturdays, yet.
